RENTAL POLICY

Welcome to My Hidden Closet (MHC). We specialize in renting premium sarees and jewelry for weddings, festive occasions, parties, and special events. By placing an order on myhiddencloset.in, you agree to the following rental terms.

Rental Duration

  • The rental period begins on the date your order is delivered.
  • The standard rental period is as mentioned on the product page.
  • Rental extensions are subject to product availability and additional rental charges.
  • Products must be returned on or before the scheduled return date.

Product Condition

All sarees and jewelry are professionally cleaned, sanitized, and quality-checked before dispatch.

Customers are requested to inspect their order immediately upon delivery and report any issues within 24 hours.

Security Deposit

Some products may require a refundable security deposit.

The applicable deposit amount will be displayed on the product page before checkout.

The security deposit will be refunded within 5–7 business days after the returned item successfully passes our quality inspection.

Product Care

Please handle rented products with care.

Customers should not:

  • Wash or dry clean rented sarees.
  • Attempt repairs or alterations.
  • Modify jewelry in any manner.

Professional cleaning is included in the rental service.

Late Returns

Products returned after the agreed rental period may incur additional rental charges.

Continued delays may result in further penalties or deduction from the security deposit.

Damage or Loss

Customers are responsible for the rented products while they remain in their possession.

Charges may apply for:

  • Permanent stains
  • Fabric tears
  • Missing accessories
  • Broken jewelry
  • Missing stones
  • Lost products

Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, the customer may be liable for the remaining balance.

Refusal of Service

My Hidden Closet reserves the right to refuse rental services in cases involving fraud, misuse of products, policy violations, or suspicious activities.
